You’ll be spoilt for choice
at St Giles Hospice’s bookshops.
The shops, at 284a Lichfield Road in Mere Green, Sutton Coldfield, and
111 Long Street in Atherstone stock a wide range of high-quality, second-hand
titles appealing to readers of all tastes and ages.
Bookworms can get a great deal and, at the same time, help raise much-needed
funds to support St Giles’ caring services.
The choice is extensive, including fiction, children’s titles, leisure,
literature, travel, the arts, reference, and antiquarian volumes.
The shops also sell a selection of videos, CDs, DVDs, pictures, clocks,
cameras, and a range of new goods including stationery, gifts and greetings
cards.
Donations of books, and other items to sell, are always gratefully received
and can be handed in at any of the hospice’s fourteen charity shops
across the region.
The Mere Green bookshop is open Monday to Saturday from 9.15am –
