Shop Volunteers

Celebrating the 15th Birthday of the Tamworth shop.Volunteering at St Giles Hospice Shops is another valuable way of supporting the charity's work.

Volunteers perform a variety of duties within the shops including sorting, pricing, and serving customers.

They are encouraged to try all tasks, but most shops can accommodate anyone with a definite preference.

VolunteersVolunteers with specialist expertise, for example knowledge about antiques, books or cameras, are also extremely welcome.

Many people find volunteering an extremely rewarding experience - providing an opportunity to meet new people, make friends, and have fun, while being part of a valued team.

Volunteers are asked to commit to just one four-hour session a week, and attend an introductory meeting at the hospice.

Anyone interested in becoming a volunteer should call in at a shop and ask to speak to the manager. Volunteers are also welcome at the clothing and furniture warehouses in Shenstone.
