Volunteers

St Giles Hospice AmbulanceVolunteers play an integral part in the life of St Giles Hospice, fulfilling a central role in the hospice's work.

They are involved in a wide variety of duties, and it's estimated that their contribution is worth nearly £1 million to St Giles every year.

Volunteering is a rewarding experience. Not only do volunteers meet new people and make friends, Library - Maggie Brosch, Catherine Glover, Jennie Stokes and Joan Martinthey also have the chance to serve as part of a dedicated team caring for those in need.

St Giles Hospice's volunteers come from all walks of life, are from every age group, and give varying amounts of their spare time.

More than 600 men and women currently volunteer, but more are always needed to assist with almost every aspect of the hospice's work - from the laundry to the library.Volunteer Hairdresser
