Hospice at Home, Registered Nurse
12 month fixed term contract, Salary circa £23, 541 pro rata + car allowance + unsocial enhancements
Hours: The service requires 42 hours to be worked over seven, six hour shifts (flexible). This would ideally be shared between at least two applicants. A flexible approach to working patterns is required; the focus being on the provision of shifts from 4:30pm to 10:30pm.
You must have a caring nature and genuine interest in providing the best possible care for patients whose choice it is to die at home.
Palliative care experience essential, community experience desirable.
You must have access to a car and a current UK driving licence.

To work in South Staffordshire, Sutton Coldfield and Walsall Areas
With availability over a minimum of one of the following working patterns:
Monday to Friday 7.30am to 2.00pm; Monday to Friday 4.30pm - 10.00pm
Saturday and Sunday 7.30am to 2.00pm; Saturday and Sunday 4.30pm - 10.00pm
NVQ II Health and Social Care £7.25 per hour
NVQ III Health and Social Care £7.75 per hour
plus enhancements
St Giles Care Agency is an independent care provider offering highly trained healthcare assistants to help with personal, social and domestic care, to people in their own homes and to care homes. All profits are donated to St Giles Hospice to fund the free hospice care St Giles provides.
