 St
Giles Hospice is a registered charity offering a range of specialist services
to improve the quality of care and support for people with cancer and
other advanced diseases.
We work closely with health
care professionals, agencies and community services to ensure patients,
and their carers, receive the highest possible level of service.
A dedicated
Education Department exists to pass on our specialist expertise to
other professionals.
There is no charge to patients
or their families for
the specialist services we offer. Although we receive
some funding from the health
authorities within our patient catchment area, our income primarily comes
from donations, fundraising activities, voluntary contributions, legacies
and proceeds from our hospice lottery and network of charity shops.
