Sophie is St Giles Hospice's bear for 2011

Where's Peter? Competition

2012 is not just the year of the London Olympics and the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee – it’s also when ‘Peter’ was born!

The cuddly character is the newest arrival in the St Giles Hospice Lottery’s growing family of Caring Bears, and he’s the star of a special 2012 photographic competition.

The cute and huggable bear is free to all those signing up for a year’s membership to the local fundraising lottery, as well as players renewing their annual membership this year.

To mark his arrival, we’re launching a competition asking you to send in a photo of your Peter bear with either an Olympic or a Royal Jubilee theme.

For example, you could snap ‘Peter’ watching a sporting event, visiting a sports venue or even playing a sport or game. Or, how about a photo of him celebrating the Jubilee or visiting a famous royal landmark?

To enter the ‘Where’s Peter?’ competition please email a jpeg photo image to photo@stgilespromotions.co.uk or send a photograph to: St Giles Hospice Lottery, The Stables, Catton, Walton-on-Trent, South Derbyshire, DE12 8LN.

Please include contact details and a brief description about where and when the picture was taken and who is in it. The closing date is 2 January 2013.
