Firewalk

Firewalk

Burntwood - TBC

There’s a new opportunity for adventurers to walk through fire for St Giles Hospice after bad weather forced the postponement of the charity firewalk.

A new date will soon be set for the event, meaning there’s still time to sign-up.

Brave fundraisers are being challenged to slip off their shoes and socks and walk barefoot over a scorching trail of burning wood embers – all for charity!

Said to be one of the most inspirational journeys you’ll ever make, the firewalk is an ancient rite of passage that has been practised by civilisations around the globe – and now it’s coming to Burntwood!

Firewalkers will undergo a motivational training session before attempting to complete the daring trial unscathed.

St Giles Charity Firewalk takes place at The Sportsway, Chasetown, Burntwood. Registration is from 6pm, with the walk itself getting started at 7.30pm, on a date to be confirmed.

There’s a £25 entry fee and participants will need to raise a minimum sponsorship of £125.
