A local hospice is inviting the community to come along and find out more about its work and what it’s achieved since it launched a new brand and strategy 12 months ago.
St Giles Hospice, which has sites in Walsall, Sutton Coldfield and Whittington, is hosting a series of meetings across its catchment area to share an update on the last 12 months and the plans the charity has for the future.
St Giles CEO Emma Hodges, who will be presenting the sessions, said the hospice receives incredible support from the community.
“It takes a community to make a hospice and we simply couldn’t provide the support to families living with potentially incurable illnesses without the generosity and support of local people,” she said.
“We want to make sure the community around us have the opportunity to hear about the work we are doing, both at our sites and in the local area.
“When we launched our five year strategy and new look branding we pledged to report back on what we had achieved to date and what we planned to do next.
“These meetings are our chance to do that and for anyone who is interested to come along and find out more about our future plans.”
Meetings will take place on:
5-6.30pm, Thursday 21st June, St Giles Hospice, Fisherwick Road, Whittington
5-6.30pm, Tuesday, 26th June, St Giles Hospice, Goscote Lane, Walsall
5-6.30pm, Wednesday, 27th June, St Giles Supportive Care Centre, Lindridge Road, Sutton Coldfield
