Advance Care Planning Study Day

This Study Day is an in depth opportunity to explore the benefits and challenges of advance care planning and will cover the following:

  • Conversations around Advance Care Planning
  • Advance Care Planning Documents
  • Do Not Attempt Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation
  • Advance Directives
  • Lasting Power of Attorney

There will also be the opportunity to develop the knowledge and skills to help open and continue conversations with people as they approach the end of their lives. The workshop will provide an opportunity for participants to review and reflect on their current practice and identify specific communication skills to support advance care planning conversations in a safe and effective learning environment.

This workshop is suitable for all health and social care professionals working within a health and social care environment.

This is FREE training for learners within the Staffordshire and Stoke on Trent Partnership STP Area. Funding has been provided by Health Education England. £60.00 pp will be charged for non attendance.
