Introduction to Palliative and End of Life Care for HCA’s and Support Workers

This one day course is aimed at Health Care Assistants and Support Workers (Bands 1-4) and will give an overview of Palliative and End of Life care.  To support you in the care of a palliative or end of life patient, we are offering an opportunity to enhance your knowledge and understanding of the following;

  • Palliative and End of Life Care
  • Person centred care
  • The patients journey
  • Spirituality
  • Bereavement care
  • Symptom Control
  • Communication

This is free training funded by Health Education England for Learners within the Staffordshire & Stoke on Trent Partnership STP Area.

Includes Sandwich Lunch

£60.00 per person will be charged for non attendance
