Celebrating 35 years of caring
7th-14th July 2018
At St Giles we know it takes a community to make a hospice and we want you to help us to celebrate our 35th anniversary!
Please join us to raise awareness of how we help people in your community and how you can help us.
We want to paint the town orange this July and we need your help. Whether you dress up in orange, dye your beard orange or only eat orange food for a day (baked beans anyone?) you can help us raise awareness and funds for your local hospice!
On Orange Wednesday (11th July) the staff, volunteers and patients at St Giles will be turning orange in celebration of our 35th anniversary, why not support us by holding an Orange Wednesday at your school or workplace. Share your photos and videos with us on social media using #stgilesorangeweek and encourage others to join in the fun too!
If dressing up or changing your hair colour isn’t for you then why not get baking? Organise an orange themed cake sale with some tasty treats. If you’re not a budding Mary Berry then you can Make Orange and get crafty with an orange craft sale at work or school!
Whether you’re looking for a new outfit (orange or otherwise), something for your home or a good book, pop along to one of our 30 shops across the region to shop orange!
Don’t forget, if you play orange and join our lottery, you’ll receive your exclusive Promise Card which entitles you to exclusive savings at over 150 shops and outlets across the region as a thank you for your support! What are you waiting for, find your local St Giles shop and Shop Orange!
Who doesn’t love a party? With the royal wedding behind us, you might be looking for another excuse to put up the bunting and celebrate! Why not organise your own orange themed St Giles birthday bash – we can even provide the bunting and cake flags! If hosting isn’t your thing, then come along and join our birthday bash Summer Fairs on Saturday 14th July – birthday cake guaranteed!
Register for your fundraising pack or let us know what you’ve got planned!
