From the 509 cyclists to our amazing volunteers – thank you for helping us to raise almost £35,000 which will help us to care for local people, and their families, living with a terminal illness.

We’re here for you… because you’re here for us

Steven Babb’s father, Vic, was supported by St Giles Hospice during his final months before losing his battle with cancer in 2020.

Steven said: “The care dad received at St Giles was wonderful. The nursing staff could not do enough for him. They helped dad to live out his final days with dignity, which is something that I will forever be grateful for.”

He added: “Knowing St Giles was there for him made a real difference and we have to make sure that the hospice is there for other families when they need it, which is why I took part in Cycle Autumn last year. I really enjoyed it and I plan to take part in the spring and autumn rides every year from now on.”
