Our Keepy-Up Challenge has raised over an incredible £6,200 so far, which will fund over 221 hours of one-to-one nursing care for a patient.
Whether you’ve been tirelessly practicing your keepy-ups, rallying support, or raising funds for a great cause, we’d like to say a BIG thank you from everyone here at St Giles Hospice.
Don’t forget to send in your funds before Wednesday 31st July 2024 to be entered into our prize draw to win England match tickets or £200 worth of football equipment!
How to pay in your funds
Four easy ways to send in your funds before Wednesday 31st July 2024:
- Online: Click here and select the ‘Pay in sponsor money’ tab.
- In person: Pop in to our Whittington hospice, but please let the Fundraising Team know first so that they can be available to greet you!
- By post (cheques only): Make your cheque payable to ‘St Giles Hospice’. Post to: Keepy-Up Challenge, St Giles Hospice, Fisherwick Road, Whittington, Lichfield, WS14 9LH
- By phone: Call our Supporter Care team on 01543 432538 to pay by phone using your credit or debit card.
If you’ve set up a JustGiving page, the money will be sent straight to us.

Individual prize
- Raise £50 or more and receive an exclusive Keepy-Up medal.
- For every £50 raised you’ll get one entry into our prize draw for a chance to win 4 England match tickets
Team prize
- Raise £200 or more as a team and each member will receive a Keepy-Up medal. Due to the numbers school participants will receive a certificate in replacement of a medal.
- For every £200 raised you’ll get one entry into our team prize draw for £200 worth of football equipment!

Frequently Asked Questions
We are asking everyone that takes on the challenge to complete as many keepy-ups as possible between 14th June – 14th July. When you register, you’ll receive a downloadable fundraising pack and activity tracker to support your sponsorship journey.
No, you decide how you would like to tackle the challenge. Completing as many keepy-ups as you can every day for 31 days is one option. Or you can set a target and keep going until you reach it.
It is up to you how you would like to face the challenge; individually, with your football team, work colleagues or school – it’s completely up to you.
The Keepy-Up Challenge is a virtual event, and you decide when and where you want to complete your keepy-ups. Just choose your favourite place and get started.
There is no registration fee to take part in the Keepy-Up Challenge, however we are asking everyone that signs up to help raise funds for vital care for local people, and their loved ones, living with a terminal illness.
You must be aged 16 or older to register for the Keepy-Up Challenge. Under 16s are welcome to participate but they must be registered by someone over 16.
If you sign up on your own and raise at least £50 then you’ll receive a Keepy-Up Challenge medal.
If you sign up as a team and raise at least £200 then everyone in the team will receive a Keepy-Up Challenge medal. Due to the numbers school participants will receive a certificate in replacement of a medal.
Medals will be sent out in August when the challenge has been completed.
