We’re here for you… because you’re here for us
Andy Barker’s wife Belinda received end of life care at St Giles in 2015. Since she passed away he has become a volunteer and raised thousands by taking part in Cycle St Giles, Miles 4 St Giles, and playing the hospice lottery.
Andy said: “Belinda was in St Giles for 10 days before she passed away. She had excellent care, you really could not fault it. Everyone at the hospice did everything they could for her and they supported me for as long as I needed it afterwards and helped me to cope with my loss.
“It’s so reassuring to know that St Giles Hospice is there for you when you need it – they care for everyone so well – which is why it’s so important to support the hospice as much as we can.”
