Athletes of all ages and abilities who don’t mind getting in a mess for a good cause are being urged to put their stamina to the test this month (September) in this year’s St Giles Hospice Mud Challenge.
The fun event with mud and water obstacles galore will be taking place on Sunday, 30th September at Cliff Lakes Water Park in Tamworth.
Zoe Westwood, Events Coordinator at St Giles Hospice, said: “Whether you choose to run or walk, or take part as an individual or in a team, this event is ideal for all levels of fitness. You can challenge yourself, your friends or your colleagues to complete our mud-filled obstacle course.
“Over 550 people took on the obstacle course last year, raising an amazing £32,500 for St Giles Hospice. This year we have opened the event up to ages five and over so little ones can get muddy for St Giles too!”
This year there will be three different events taking place during the day.
