Clinical Training Programme for Care Homes via Webinar

Event Details

A six week online training programme aimed at health care professionals within a care home setting.

These weekly one hour webinars will provide training on the following subjects;

Thursday 10th June:                  2pm-3pm   Identifying the dying

Friday 18th June:                        2pm-3pm   End of life care (incl symptom control and medications at end of life)

Friday 25th June:                        2pm – 3pm  Advance Care Planning

Wednesday 30th June:             2pm – 3pm   Promoting Positive Wellbeing

Thursday 8th July:                     2pm – 3pm   T34 Syringe Pump

Friday 16th July:                         2pm – 3pm    Verification of Death

Delegate Feedback from the previous programme included;

The session was really well presented as have all of the St Giles training sessions for nursing homes. It has personally given me confidence especially dealing with residents at end of life.

The training was excellent and really good that it was available to all staff even if they were not on duty.

 

A one off cost of £150.00 allows access to all 6 sessions for an unlimited number of care home staff within the setting.

  • Cancellation fees – the following charges apply ;
    ◦11-31 days = 50% of the course fee
    ◦1-10 days = 100% of the course fee
  • Name substitutions can be made at any time before the course without incurring a penalty.
  • St Giles Hospice does not store credit card details nor do we share customer details with any 3rd parties. Please note that for administration purposes your details will be held on our mailing lists and we may use the information to send you details of our courses. If you do not wish to receive further information from us please advise us.
  • St Giles Hospice reserves the right to cancel a course if insufficient bookings have been received. Delegates will be offered a full refund of the course fee.
