The quality of our care is extremely important to us and we make every effort to exceed the expectations of those we care for.
Quality of our care
We are proud to be rated as OUTSTANDING by the Care Quality Commission.
We know that our staff and volunteers strive to deliver outstanding care every day, but to have this acknowledged by the CQC is truly wonderful. You can find out more by reading the full CQC report for our Whittington site.
Care Quality Commission
The Care Quality Commission (CQC) is the independent regulator of all health and social care services in England.
Under the CQC inspection regime, hospices are subject to the same level of scrutiny as hospitals.
The commission monitors, inspects and regulates services to ensure fundamental standards of quality and safety are met.
“People were truly respected and valued as individuals. They were empowered as partners in their care, practically and emotionally, by an exceptional and distinctive service.”

Complaints Procedure
We work very hard to provide the highest standards of care to our patients and their loved ones. However, we are aware that we may not always get it right.
We believe any concerns or complaints are an opportunity for us to learn and improve, therefore we greatly appreciate your feedback. If you would like to make a complaint, we will take the appropriate action and do our best to resolve the issue.
