What’s changing?
From Friday 4th July 2025 we are introducing a new prize structure, as shown above.
Following feedback from our lottery players, we’ve also decided to phase out our Promise Card scheme. Existing Promise Cards will be valid until their expiry date.
Please note existing £5 vouchers will still be valid until their expiry date.
Any existing lottery players will automatically be entered into our new weekly draw from Friday 4th July 2025.

Our lottery is an important way of raising vital funds for St Giles Hospice. We’ve updated our prize structure to balance offering great prizes whilst ensuring the lottery remains efficient and profitable.
Since 1997 our lottery has raised over £20 million, helping to provide vital care for local people, and their loved ones, living with a terminal illness.
The weekly top guaranteed prizes remain:
1st prize = 1 x £1,000
2nd prize = 1 x £100
3rd prize = 3 x £50
Instead of 100 x £5 vouchers, we are now offering 50 cash prizes of £10 each week.
Based on feedback from our supporters, the Promise Card was not used extensively and added to the costs of running the lottery. Therefore, we made the decision to phase out the Promise Card.
Existing cards will still be valid until 30th September 2025.
We are changing the weekly rollover to an annual Superdraw, where you’ll be in with the chance to win a guaranteed £10,000.
Yes, Promise Cards and vouchers will still be valid until their expiry dates.
No, the cost of each entry per week will remain at £1.
The Superdraw will take place once a year. In 2025 this will take place on Friday 31st October.
