St Giles Hospice Winter Gala returns for a second year following £40,000 fundraising success 

St Giles Hospice Winter Gala is set to return this November, bringing together businesses and supporters for another unforgettable evening in aid of St Giles Hospice. 

The second St Giles Hospice Winter Gala will take place on Friday 13th November at Alrewas Hayes, promising an evening of fine dining, live entertainment, fundraising and celebrations – all in support of St Giles Hospice and the vital care it provides to local people, and their loved ones, living with a terminal illness. 

Last year’s inaugural Gala proved to be a remarkable evening, bringing supporters and businesses together at Moxhull Hall in Sutton Coldfield. Guests enjoyed a three-course dinner, live entertainment and a spectacular live and silent auction, with the evening raising an incredible £40,000 for St Giles Hospice. 

The funds raised will help St Giles to continue providing specialist care and support to patients and their families at some of the most difficult times in their lives. The £40,000 raised at the first Gala was estimated to provide more than 1,330 hours of expert care for local people and their loved ones. 

Now, the team is preparing to make the second Winter Gala even more memorable. 

Guests attending this year can look forward to a welcome drink on arrival, a delicious three-course meal and an evening packed with entertainment, including a magician, live music and a live auction hosted by Richard Winterton. 

Sam Colclough, Events Manager at St Giles Hospice, said: “Last year’s Winter Gala was an incredible evening and the generosity of everyone involved was amazing. To see our supporters come together to raise £40,000 for St Giles was something very special. 

“We’re thrilled to be bringing the Winter Gala back for a second year and are looking forward to welcoming even more businesses and supporters of St Giles to what promises to be another fantastic evening. 

“Every ticket, donation and contribution helps us continue providing vital care to local people and their loved ones, so we hope people will join us, celebrate with us and help us make this year’s Gala even more special.” 

Tickets for the 2026 Winter Gala are now on sale, with businesses able to reserve tables for groups of 10–12, as well as individual tickets available for those looking to attend.
