By taking part in one of our events you’re agreeing to our events policy.
By entering a St Giles Hospice event you are confirming that you and any other parties which you are registering for are aware of and will comply with our event terms and conditions.
The following information is applicable to the purchasing individual and any other parties that they are registering for.
Payment of the entry fee is regarded as acceptance of the terms and conditions.
Entries will only be accepted if accompanied by the entry fee per person.
Your entry fee is non-refundable and places are non-transferable.
Sponsorship is key to the success of our events and entrants are asked to raise sponsorship if they are able.
Sponsorship forms will be dispatched to your nominated address with your information pack or by email.
All sponsorship monies raised by you must be paid to St Giles Hospice.
By entering a St Giles Hospice event you are confirming that you do so entirely at your own risk. St Giles Hospice, the directors/trustees, its staff and its volunteers shall not be held responsible for any injury, illness or other loss sustained by you before, during or after the event. By completing and submitting an online entry form you are deemed to accept these conditions.
The event will take place regardless of bad weather and will only be cancelled, re-routed or stopped for reasons of safety. Entry fees, however, are not refundable.
St Giles Hospice will take photographs at the event for use in our future marketing. If you would prefer not to be included in photography please inform a member of staff. Where possible consent to use photography in future marketing will be sought on an individual basis.
Any participants under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
The organiser’s reserve the right to terminate an individual’s ride on health and safety grounds.
If you get sent a participant number in advance of the event, before arrival, you are required to complete emergency contact and medical information on this number. The number must be worn and clearly visible at all times during the event for your own safety.
In our cycle events it is compulsory that participants wear a cycle helmet complying with latest ANSI Z90/4 OR SNELL standards throughout the event. Any rider not wearing a helmet will not be covered by insurance or able to participate.
In our cycle events, you must be 10 years or older to take part in the short route with an accompanying responsible adult. You must be 16 years or above on the date of the event to take part in all other routes.
In our cycle events, you may not use your mobile phone while riding. You must stop at the side of the road if you need to make or receive a call.
Our cycle events will close at 6pm. You must return to the finish line on completion of your cycle route. St Giles Hospice, the directors/trustees, its staff and its volunteers shall not be held responsible for any cyclists returning after 6pm. No provisions will be available after this time.

By completing and submitting an online entry form you are deemed to accept this condition.
Date of births are required for administrative purposes related to our events. We value the support we receive from our local community and take the protection of your data very seriously. We will never pass your information to anyone outside the St Giles Hospice Group who isn’t directly working on our behalf, and we will keep your details safe and secure.
As the ticket purchaser, you take responsibility for sharing booking information, fundraising packs and all other event information with the event attendees you are purchasing tickets on behalf of. If you do not wish to have this responsibility, please ensure other attendees purchase their own individual tickets.
