For many families, their first instinct is to try and look after their loved ones by themselves at home. They struggle to cope alone, not realising that St Giles is so much more than just a building.
In fact, eighty per cent of our care is delivered to patients in the comfort of their own home by our community nursing team.
To support those who wish to live at home during the final stages of their illness, we operate a dedicated Hospice at Home service for patients and their families.
Plus, we have also launched an Enhanced Respite Service in Sutton Coldfield to support carers and families who are looking after loved ones in the final year of their life.
