Hospice at Home

Hospice at home services aim to enable patients to be cared for at home and to die at home if that is their preference.

We work closely with district nurses, social services and other voluntary agencies to help achieve this. Our Hospice at Home team helps patients and their families by providing the highest possible standard of care to enhance the quality of life of patients, while supporting carers and families.

Our trained healthcare assistants provide a range of practical care and support. This could involve helping those caring for you to have an undisturbed night’s sleep, providing personal care, giving emotional support to you, your friends and relatives or providing much needed respite support.

If you feel that the service may be of benefit to you, please get in touch

If you are registered with a GP in the Sutton Coldfield area, you may also benefit from our new Enhanced Respite Service – which supports carers and families who are looking after loved ones in the final year of their life. Find out more here.

“When I was on my own it was sometimes difficult to help my wife in the way I wanted, but the Hospice at Home carers were amazing. They had the specialist skills to know exactly what she needed.”
